Agents for heat treatment of metals

Pragokor AS 140 is a both nitrates and nitrites-based agent for tempering treatment of hardened steel parts with the working temperature within 190 – 550 °C (the lower temperature limit stands for the approximate melting point of the agent and the upper one the point of decomposition).

Way of use:

The steel parts to be treated are immersed in baskets or suspended on suitable hangers into the working bath prepared from the melted agent. After pulling out, they should be cooled down in the air or in water for the ambient temperature, rinsed with water and dried out.

It is a hardening salt with nitrate content for the refining of aluminium alloys at the temperature within 500 – 530 °C.
